This morning was the big egg hunt in Town Square for local children under the age of 6. There were 7,200 eggs with 800 of them marked as prize eggs! Brayden was VERY excited about going this year. The very first thing she said to me this morning was, "I'm ready to go to the egg hunt!"

We got there and started saying hi to all the costumed characters. Luckily this year, she wasn't scared to death of them (she wanted NOTHING to do with them last year). In fact, she went up to them very willingly when she realized they had candy in their basket to share with her! She even posed for some pictures for Mommy.

The start of the hunt was promptly at 10:30. Brayden was eager to get started! She collected 13 eggs this year! She was kind enough to share an egg with a small friend of hers that only got 3. Surprisingly, out of all those eggs, none of them were marked as a "prize" egg. A bank employee (the sponsors of the hunt), was nice enough to give her a prize egg. She was able to get a big ball to play with!

Roger had to go back to work after the hunt, so we took him to the village. We got back in town just in time to see a free movie (Open Season) offered by one of the local movie theaters. She was pretty wiped out after all that so we came home to nap. I can't wait till tomorrow morning when she sees that the Easter Bunny has come to visit!
